One of the more common face shapes in the world is the oval. And while they do have a lot of options available to them when it comes to eyewear, the best way to go about selecting the right one is to whittle the list down to a few entries only.

But, before we go about that, how do you really figure out if you have an oval face? Well, here’s how, and then we’ll show you our recommendations!

The first thing is to take a look at your face length. If you have an oval face, the length of your face is about two times the width. Second, your face gets narrower as we approach the forehead and chin.

Third, the width of your face is mostly even, with the widest points being at your cheekbones, bringing the oval together. Fourth, your forehead width is almost the same or a little more than the width of your chin.

So, if you meet these criteria, let’s have a look at some glasses, shall we?

Rectangles

Unbeatable in form, shape, and the composition it enables. On top of that, rectangles are your entry point into eyewear fashion relative to your face. Rock these with your outfit for a subtle, classy feel and a comfortable fit.

Wayfarers

Since your face shape has more rounded corners than sharp edges, anything that adds those angles in is going to do the job just fine. Case in point, wayfarers. They elevate the look of anything you wear, anywhere you are.

Squares

Like we discussed before, squares and rectangles really go along well with the oval face shape. All you need to do after putting them on is watch the angles take form on your face and perform their magic. Can’t go wrong with this one.

So there we have it. Have more exploring to do? Why not watch the video as Harsh from the #LenskartSquad explains the oval to you?
