The eyewear style of the cricket czars

The monsoon has finally arrived. As usual, the entire streets are waterlogged. However, this has not hampered the enthusiasm of school kids and youngsters from indulging in their favourite game of cricket.

If there is one thing which binds all of us together, it is the game of Cricket. No wonder, this gentleman’s game is termed as our religion. Moreover, every cricketer is worshipped as a larger than life hero in India.

This master blaster from the small town of Ranchi has been one of our most successful captains ever. He was instrumental in India lifting all the three ICC world cups.

Sourav Ganguly – July 8


The Prince of Calcutta, Sourav Ganguly, is considered as the sixth greatest ODI batsman of all time. What more! He is widely regarded as one of India’s most successful captains. The Indian government bestowed him with Padma Shri, the country’s fourth-highest civilian honour.

Sunil Gavaskar – July 10

Sunil Gavaskar is considered as one of the best opening batsmen in cricketing history. His record 34 test centuries made him a household name in the country.

What many don’t know is that even the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, grew up idolizing this little master.


Of late, Gavaskar is often spotted wearing Ray-Ban and Oakley Aviators.
